About Cathy-Lotus Whitefield
I have been on path of healing and self discovery for most of my life. I was one of the sixties flower children who travelled overland to India seeking new ways of being. I have now embraced many different transformational approaches from both the East and the West, and developed my own style of passing these on to others.
Now, after a lifetime of inner and outer changes, including overcoming life-threatening illness and the grief of childlessness, my greatest joy is to share some of the insight, wisdom and compassion I have gathered along the way.
I love facilitating groups and watching people become more open and in touch with their own soul destiny. I love the synergistic energy of healing we can create when we form conscious healing circles to help ourselves and the planet. And I love sharing small celebratory circles in honour of the changing earth cycles and seasons.
I have a deep connection with nature and write poetry which expresses the non-duality of the natural world imbued with spirit. At present I am writing my autobiography.
Training and qualifications
I studied yoga in India and became a yoga teacher for many years. Later I qualified and practised Acupuncture.
After seeing clearly the interconnection between body and mind, I studied, qualified and practised counselling, including couples counselling, and a body centred approach called Focusing.
Throughout all these years I also studied and practised different healing modalities including esoteric healing based on the teachings of Alice Bailey.
For many years I have facilitated women’s self-development groups. I also facilitate Permaculture groups with my husband Patrick as the main teacher.
I live and work in the UK in summer and in southern Spain in winter. |
